MIA-604

**MIA-604** is a synthetic antagonist of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), developed to inhibit cancer cell growth. It binds the GHRH receptor and blocks downstream signaling, resulting in reduced proliferation and enhanced apoptosis of tumor cells. Preclinical studies show that MIA-604 significantly inhibits the growth and survival of human glioblastoma cells both in vitro and in vivo, and it may exert anti-inflammatory effects in animal models. Mechanistically, it downregulates oncogenic and growth factor pathways (FGF, PDGFβ, TGFβ), suppresses angiogenesis, and upregulates tumor suppressors (such as p53)[1][5].
