Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Microcyn Endocyn is a pH-neutral, hypochlorous acid (HOCl)-based wound and dental irrigant that leverages the Microcyn technology platform, known for its broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties and rapid disruption of bacterial biofilms. The active ingredients are primarily hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite in a stabilized aqueous solution. HOCl, the chief antimicrobial agent, mimics the natural product of human immune cells (neutrophils) used to destroy pathogens via oxidative mechanisms. Microcyn Endocyn rapidly kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores, and simultaneously exerts anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects by reducing inflammation and promoting tissue repair. The primary indications are wound cleansing, debridement, and irrigation, with dental applications as an irrigant in endodontic procedures[5][10].
