Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MicrocynAH is a line of topical animal healthcare products formulated with the patented Microcyn Technology. The primary active ingredient is hypochlorous acid, present in low concentrations and stabilized for veterinary use. These products are designed to clean and manage wounds, cuts, abrasions, burns, lacerations, post-surgical sites, hot spots, skin ulcers, rashes, irritated skin as well as eye and ear irritations in all animal species. They are non-toxic and free from antibiotics, steroids or alcohol. The mechanism of action involves hypochlorous acid’s broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties—disrupting microbial cell membranes—and its ability to support natural wound healing by reducing inflammation and promoting tissue repair without harming healthy tissue. The technology has been validated in multiple clinical studies for both safety and efficacy[1][2][4][6][8][9].
