Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Microlyvaq is a personalized, multi-epitope cancer vaccine developed by Biogenea Pharmaceuticals Ltd for the treatment of advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The vaccine is designed using a proprietary AI-driven platform that incorporates quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (AI-QMMM) to identify and select patient-specific neoantigens derived from whole exome and RNA sequencing of the individual's tumor. These private neoantigens are combined with a standardized panel of tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), including NY-ESO-1, SOX2, MAGE-A4, p53, and BRAF, to create a multi-targeted immunotherapy. Microlyvaq aims to stimulate a robust, polyfunctional immune response by recruiting both CD8+ cytotoxic T cells and CD4+ Th1 helper T cells. In clinical settings, it is evaluated as part of a combination regimen with pembrolizumab and platinum-based chemotherapy to enhance anti-tumor efficacy and overcome immune evasion mechanisms.
