Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MicroMTx001 is a personalized mRNA-based cancer vaccine currently in preclinical development by MicroCrispr. As part of the company's living therapeutics platform, the vaccine is designed to encode patient-specific tumor neoantigens identified through genomic sequencing of a patient's tumor. Upon administration, the mRNA is translated into these specific antigens, which are then presented to the immune system to stimulate a targeted T-cell response against the cancer cells. This individualized approach aims to overcome the heterogeneity of tumors by focusing on mutations unique to each patient's malignancy to induce a robust antitumor immune response.
