Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MicroQuin's lead compound is a small molecule therapeutic developed using the company's proprietary IntraCellular Environmental (ICE) change technology. The drug is designed to selectively bind to and regulate ICE regulators, which are proteins that govern the internal environment of a cell, including pH, ion concentrations, and protein folding. In oncology, the lead compound has demonstrated the ability to selectively target cancerous cells and induce over 95% tumor cell death within 28 days in preclinical models, without significant toxicity. The platform is being applied across multiple therapeutic areas, including gynecological, breast, and lung cancers, as well as neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and various viral infections including SARS-CoV-2 and influenza.
