It has no intrinsic analgesic properties but provides amnesia[8]. - **Atracurium** is a non-depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent that competitively inhibits acetylcholine at nicotinic receptors on skeletal muscle endplates to induce muscle relaxation/paralysis during surgery or mechanical ventilation. This combination allows for rapid induction of anesthesia (propofol), profound analgesia (fentanyl), anxiolysis/amnesia (midazolam), and complete neuromuscular paralysis (atracurium). It is typically used in operating rooms or intensive care units for intubation or surgical procedures requiring deep sedation with muscle relaxation.
