Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Migra-Zen Relief Plus is an all-natural herbal dietary supplement developed by ZenMed for the prophylactic treatment of chronic migraine headaches. The formulation is designed to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks by utilizing a blend of botanical extracts and minerals. Common ingredients in the Migra-Zen line include feverfew (*Tanacetum parthenium*), butterbur (*Petasites hybridus*), riboflavin (Vitamin B2), and magnesium. These components are thought to work synergistically to inhibit neuroinflammation, modulate vascular tone, and reduce neuronal hyperexcitability. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial (NCT01135784) was initiated to evaluate the efficacy and safety of the product, including its impact on liver enzymes and urinalysis, though the study's current status is unknown.
