**Migralex** is an over-the-counter (OTC) combination medication consisting of aspirin (500 mg per tablet) as the active pain reliever buffered with magnesium oxide (75 mg) to reduce stomach irritation. It is indicated for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains associated with tension headaches, sinus headaches, stress headaches, chronic headaches, and menstrual headaches. Developed and marketed by Migralex Inc., it is taken orally as coated tablets, with adults and children 12 years and over instructed to take 2 tablets every 6 hours (maximum 8 tablets in 24 hours) with a full glass of water.[1][8]
