Mikab48 bacteriophage (formally vB_AbaA_MikAB48 or Acinetobacter baumannii bacteriophage MikAB48) is a preclinical-stage bacteriophage therapy asset developed by Mikroliz. It is a lytic bacteriophage isolated from sewage that specifically targets and kills multidrug-resistant (including pan-drug resistant) strains of the Gram-negative pathogen *Acinetobacter baumannii*. The asset also encompasses a derived endolysin (lytic protein) encoded by the phage genome, which exhibits strong in vitro antibacterial activity. Both the phage and its derived lytic protein are covered under patent WO2020139279A2 and are intended for the treatment of *Acinetobacter baumannii* infections.
