mIL12-FHAB is a preclinical-stage recombinant fusion protein developed by Sonnet BioTherapeutics, consisting of murine interleukin-12 (IL-12) cytokine fused to a proprietary Fully Human Albumin-Binding (FHAB) domain. The FHAB technology utilizes a single-chain antibody fragment (scFv) that binds to serum albumin, allowing the cytokine to "hitch-hike" on albumin for improved pharmacokinetics and targeted delivery to tumor tissues. As the murine surrogate for the clinical candidate SON-1010 (human IL-12-FHAB), mIL12-FHAB is used in preclinical studies to evaluate the efficacy and safety of IL-12-mediated immune activation. It primarily targets the IL-12 receptor to stimulate T-cell and natural killer (NK) cell activity within the tumor microenvironment, promoting anti-tumor immunity.
