MIL93 + chemotherapy is a combination regimen under clinical investigation for advanced or metastatic solid tumors, particularly gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma and pancreatic cancer. MIL93 is a humanized, recombinant, afucosylated IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein specifically expressed in gastric and pancreatic cancer cells. MIL93 mediates antitumor effects through enhanced antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and directly targeting CLDN18.2-positive tumor cells. When combined with standard first-line chemotherapies, MIL93 aims to increase efficacy beyond chemotherapy or monoclonal antibody alone. Early clinical results (as monotherapy and in combination) show manageable safety, preliminary antitumor activity, and are being evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for patients with advanced and untreated CLDN18.2-positive gastrointestinal cancers[1][2][3][5][9].
