Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MIL97 is a recombinant, humanized, agonistic monoclonal antibody that targets the B-cell surface antigen CD40. By binding to CD40 on various immune cell types, MIL97 acts as an immunostimulatory agent with potential antineoplastic (anti-cancer) activity. The drug was developed by Beijing Mabworks Biotech and has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including metastatic pancreatic cancer and other solid tumors. Its mechanism involves activating CD40 to stimulate immune responses against tumor cells[1][2][3][6][8].
