Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Mimeixin** is an oral sustained-release fixed-dose combination of oxycodone hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride developed by Luye Pharma for adults with severe opioid-responsive pain, including cancer pain and non-cancer pain. Oxycodone is a potent opioid receptor agonist that provides analgesia, while orally administered naloxone has low systemic bioavailability and antagonizes opioid receptors in the gastrointestinal tract, mitigating opioid-induced constipation without materially reducing analgesia. The product uses a sustained-release, abuse-deterrent drug-locking tablet technology and was approved in China on June 28, 2024. ([luye.cn](https://www.luye.cn/lvye_en/view.php?id=2261))
