Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Mimrit** is a freeze-dried, live-attenuated measles-mumps-rubella vaccine developed for prevention of measles, mumps, and rubella. The vaccine combines attenuated measles virus AIK-C strain, mumps virus RIT4385 strain, and rubella virus Takahashi strain. Vaccination induces pathogen-specific humoral and cellular immune responses that suppress viral replication following exposure. Daiichi Sankyo received Japanese manufacturing and marketing approval for Mimrit for Subcutaneous Injection on May 11, 2026. ([mhlw.go.jp](https://www.mhlw.go.jp/content/10900000/001266003.pdf))
