Overview
Minafen Spray is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory combination spray manufactured by Signature Phytochemical Industries. It is formulated for the rapid relief of musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, backaches, sprains, strains, and sports injuries. The spray contains a combination of dexketoprofen trometamol (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug), linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Dexketoprofen trometamol and methyl salicylate act as cyclooxygenase (COX) inhibitors to reduce prostaglandin synthesis and alleviate inflammation and pain. Menthol acts as a counter-irritant and TRPM8 agonist to provide a cooling sensation, while linseed oil helps reduce inflammation and enhances the skin penetration of the active ingredients.
