Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MIND003 is a non-psychedelic intravenous (IV) formulation of N,N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) being developed by Mind Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD). As a small molecule agonist of the 5-HT2A serotonin receptor, MIND003 is specifically engineered to engage therapeutic serotonergic pathways while minimizing or eliminating the subjective psychedelic effects typically associated with DMT. The drug is currently in Phase 1 development and utilizes intellectual property and clinical data from Yale University to provide a rapid-acting, scalable therapy for depression without the need for the intensive psychological support required by traditional psychedelic treatments.
