Mingmu Dihuang Pills (Ming Mu Di Huang Wan) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed and marketed by Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical. It is a concentrated pill for oral administration, primarily indicated for nourishing the kidney and liver and improving vision. According to TCM principles, it is used to treat liver-kidney yin deficiency, which manifests as dry eyes, photophobia, blurred vision, and tearing when exposed to wind. The formulation is a complex herbal mixture containing twelve ingredients, including prepared rehmannia root, wolfberry, chrysanthemum, and abalone shell. It is listed as a National Essential Drug in China and is also marketed internationally as a dietary herbal supplement.
