miniPRO AML candidates are a series of de novo mini-proteins (miniPRO™) being developed through a joint development agreement between Ordaos and Yatiri Bio for the treatment of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). These therapeutics are designed using the Ordaos Design Engine, an AI-driven platform that employs generative AI, multitask meta-learning, and reinforcement learning to create proteins that are significantly smaller (typically 40-160 amino acids) than traditional monoclonal antibodies. The program focuses on two novel cell surface targets identified by Yatiri Bio's proprietary proteomics database of AML patient samples and matched model systems. By utilizing mini-proteins, the developers aim to achieve high binding affinity and superior tissue penetration compared to standard biologics. The program is currently in the IND-enabling phase of development, with the goal of delivering safer and more effective treatments for high-risk AML.
