Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MiNK-PRAME-TCR is an investigational, allogeneic T cell receptor (TCR) engineered cell therapy targeting the tumor-associated antigen PRAME (PReferentially expressed Antigen in MElanoma). Developed by MiNK Therapeutics, this therapy utilizes an engineered αβ TCR specific for PRAME and is designed to address limitations of traditional T cell therapies by offering a gene-editing-free, off-the-shelf solution with no risk of heterodimerization. The primary mechanism involves redirecting patient immune cells to recognize and attack cancer cells expressing PRAME, which is highly expressed in various solid tumors and hematologic malignancies but has limited expression in normal tissues. This approach aims to provide a safer and more precise immunotherapy option for cancer patients[1][3][4].
