MIP3α-CSP is a **fusion protein vaccine construct** comprising the chemokine macrophage inflammatory protein 3 alpha (MIP3α) genetically fused to a **circumsporozoite protein (CSP) antigen** from *Plasmodium falciparum*. The MIP3α component targets the vaccine to immature dendritic cells (iDCs) via C–C motif chemokine receptor 6 (CCR6), promoting robust activation of adaptive immunity. This vaccine is designed to generate protective humoral and cellular immune responses against malaria, demonstrating **enhanced induction of anti-NANP antibody titers** (targeting a key B-cell epitope of CSP) and a greater reduction in liver stage parasite burden in preclinical mouse models compared to CSP-only vaccines. It is under development in mRNA and protein/adjuvant formulations for use as a **malaria vaccine**[1][2][5].
