miR-542-3p inhibitor is a preclinical antisense oligonucleotide (anti-miR) tool compound designed to silence or inhibit the activity of microRNA-542-3p. As a small non-coding RNA, miR-542-3p typically regulates gene expression post-transcriptionally; its inhibition allows for the upregulation or modulation of downstream targets such as survivin (BIRC5), BMP-7, PTEN, and HK2.
