Overview

miR-660-5p inhibitor is a synthetic oligonucleotide designed to specifically bind and inhibit the microRNA miR-660-5p. In breast cancer and other malignancies, miR-660-5p acts as an oncogenic microRNA (oncomiR) that is upregulated and promotes tumor progression, proliferation, migration, invasion, and angiogenesis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that transfection with a miR-660-5p inhibitor significantly reduces cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and angiogenesis, potentially by restoring the expression of its target genes such as TMEM41B, TFCP2, and TET2.
