Overview

MIR373 is a microRNA-373 (miR-373) mimic being developed by IPS HEART as an RNA-based therapy for the treatment of heart failure and cardiac fibrosis. As a miRNA mimic, the therapeutic is designed to restore or enhance the activity of endogenous miR-373, which plays a role in regulating gene expression pathways associated with cardioprotection and the inhibition of fibrotic remodeling in heart tissue. By modulating these pathways, MIR373 aims to improve cardiac function and reduce the progression of heart failure. The candidate is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
