**mirabegron + imidafenacin** is a combination of two small-molecule drugs used experimentally for the treatment of overactive bladder (OAB). Mirabegron is a β3-adrenoceptor agonist that promotes relaxation of the detrusor muscle during the storage phase of the urinary bladder, thus increasing bladder capacity and improving storage symptoms. Imidafenacin is an anticholinergic agent (specifically a muscarinic receptor antagonist), which reduces involuntary contractions of the bladder by blocking muscarinic receptors. The combination targets both adrenergic and muscarinic pathways to improve symptoms such as increased urination frequency, nocturia, and urgency. Clinical studies indicate that both drugs, when given as monotherapy, have similar efficacy, but imidafenacin is associated with a higher rate of anticholinergic side effects including dry mouth, blurred vision, and constipation[1].
