Drug intelligence / Profile preview
miRacle is a preclinical-stage therapeutic candidate developed by SirtLab. It utilizes a dual anti-miRNA oligonucleotide approach designed to inhibit specific microRNAs (miRNAs) that naturally suppress the expression of Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6). By blocking these inhibitory miRNAs, miRacle aims to increase the activity and expression levels of SIRT6, a protein known for its critical roles in DNA repair, metabolic regulation, and longevity. The drug is being investigated for a broad range of indications, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.
