Overview

**Mirak** is a topical home-care product system historically marketed for psoriasis. The Mirak Home Care Packs contain natural spring water, volcanic earth, and a vitamin E cream, intended for sequential topical use on psoriatic lesions. In a six-week placebo-controlled left-right comparison study, Mirak produced a modest improvement in lesion induration versus placebo, while changes in desquamation, histologic parameters, and epidermal proliferation were not statistically superior to placebo. No significant treatment-related side effects were reported. Mirak is a non-prescription natural topical product rather than a conventional pharmaceutical medicine with a defined molecular target.
