Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MiraMSC-FS-001 is an investigational cell therapy product consisting of allogeneic umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UCMSCs). Developed by Miracle Biomedical Co., Ltd., it is being evaluated for the treatment of frailty syndrome in elderly populations. Mesenchymal stem cells are known for their potent immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative properties, which are hypothesized to address the chronic low-grade systemic inflammation (often termed inflammaging) and tissue degeneration associated with frailty. The product is administered via intravenous infusion and is currently in Phase I clinical development to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in older adults with mild to moderate frailty syndrome.
