MiroFlex Biologic Surgical Matrix is a non-crosslinked acellular surgical mesh developed by Reprise Biomedical for soft tissue reinforcement and wound care. Derived from decellularized porcine liver tissue using a proprietary perfusion decellularization technology, the device provides an open collagen scaffold with preserved natural vascular pathways. This structure is designed to facilitate cellular integration and tissue remodeling at the site of application. MiroFlex is primarily indicated for use in plastic and reconstructive surgery, specifically for reinforcing soft tissues in open and laparoscopic repairs of hiatal, paraesophageal, parastomal, and ventral hernias. It is designed to be custom-shaped and can be quilted together for larger hernia repairs.
