MiSaver (Myocardial Infarction Saver) is an allogeneic cell therapy product developed by Honya Medical for the treatment of patients following an acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The product is composed of prefabricated, allogeneic umbilical cord blood-derived nucleated cells, specifically stem cells, which are stored frozen and thawed prior to use. Administered via intravenous infusion, MiSaver is designed to improve left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and overall cardiac function through regenerative and paracrine processes. It has been evaluated in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials to assess its safety and efficacy in the post-AMI setting, where it aims to promote cardiac repair and recovery.
