While traditional mistletoe preparations used in integrative oncology are typically aqueous extracts, this resinous formulation is specifically designed to capture lipophilic components of the plant, such as triterpene acids, which are poorly soluble in water. The extract is intended for use as an integrative or complementary treatment for cancer, where it is reported to exert cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects.
