Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MITI-101 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Mindimmune Therapeutics for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, with a primary focus on Alzheimer’s disease. The drug is designed to intercept the immune response in neuroinflammatory conditions by neutralizing CD11c in the bloodstream, thereby preventing the recruitment of neuro-inflammatory immune cells into the brain. This mechanism aims to halt or slow down disease progression associated with harmful neuroinflammation. As of June 2025, MITI-101 remains in preclinical development and has not yet entered human clinical trials[1][3][7].
