Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mitocholine is a patented functional nutritional combination product composed of a fixed ratio of three human metabolites: choline, succinate, and nicotinamide. It is specifically formulated as the disuccinate salt of choline with the addition of nicotinamide (vitamin B3). The product is designed to address the high energy requirements of the brain by providing a synergistic effect on mitochondrial metabolism, specifically enhancing the generation of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH), as well as increasing phosphocreatine (pCr) levels. By supporting brain energy metabolism, Mitocholine is intended to support cognitive performance and cellular health within the central nervous system.
