Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mitoxantrone hydrochloride liposome (Lipo-MIT) is a nano-drug formulation of mitoxantrone, an anthracycline drug. It is a liposomal preparation designed to provide higher anti-cancer efficacy and lower toxicity compared to conventional mitoxantrone through modified drug release and distribution. Lipo-MIT has been approved in China for the treatment of relapsed or refractory peripheral T-cell lymphoma and has shown promising results in clinical trials for advanced breast cancer and relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia.
