**Mitumprotimut-T (Specifid)** is a patient-specific idiotype-keyhole limpet hemocyanin (Id-KLH) therapeutic vaccine designed for B-cell lymphomas, where the idiotype protein is derived from a patient's tumor B-cells using proprietary recombinant technology and conjugated to KLH to elicit an immune response. Developed initially by Favrille (later MMRGlobal), it was evaluated in combination with GM-CSF as maintenance therapy following rituximab induction in follicular lymphoma, aiming to induce durable anti-idiotype T-cell and antibody responses for prolonged remission. A phase III trial showed no improvement in time-to-progression (median 9.0 vs 12.6 months placebo; HR 1.384, p=0.019), potentially confounded by baseline prognostic imbalances, with comparable response rates, mild toxicity profile dominated by injection-site reactions, and subsequent program discontinuation.[1][5][7]
