Overview

**MIV-323** is a small molecule fusion inhibitor developed by Medivir AB for the treatment of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection. It targets the RSV F protein, preventing viral fusion with host cell membranes and thereby inhibiting viral entry and replication. Selected as a candidate drug in 2016, it entered non-clinical development, with subsequent involvement noted from Boehringer Ingelheim.
