MK-0752 + docetaxel

MK-0752 + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy consisting of MK-0752, a small molecule gamma-secretase inhibitor developed by Merck & Co., and docetaxel, a well-established taxane chemotherapeutic agent. MK-0752 inhibits the gamma-secretase complex, thereby blocking Notch signaling and amyloid precursor protein processing—pathways implicated in cancer cell proliferation and survival[1][4][7]. Docetaxel disrupts microtubule function during cell division. Preclinical studies suggest that combining these agents may target cancer stem cells and reduce tumor recurrence more effectively than either drug alone[2][5].
