MK-0873 Patch is a topical formulation of MK-0873, a selective phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. It was developed by Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. for the treatment of psoriasis. The mechanism of action involves inhibition of PDE4, which increases intracellular cAMP levels and reduces inflammation by decreasing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-alpha.
