Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MK-1022 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Kelun-Biotech and licensed by Merck. It is designed to target TROP2, a protein frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors. The ADC mechanism allows for the targeted delivery of a cytotoxic payload directly to cancer cells expressing TROP2, aiming to reduce systemic toxicity and improve therapeutic efficacy. At the time of the collaboration and licensing agreement, MK-1022 was poised to enter Phase 1 clinical trials for solid tumors.
