MK-1966 + SD-101

MK-1966 + SD-101 is an investigational combination therapy being studied for the treatment of advanced malignancies, including solid and hematological tumors. MK-1966 is an anti-interleukin-10 (anti-IL-10) immunomodulator developed by Merck, designed to neutralize the immunosuppressive effects of IL-10 in the tumor microenvironment. SD-101 is a toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) agonist CpG-C class oligodeoxynucleotide from Dynavax, intended to activate innate immune cells and stimulate plasmacytoid dendritic cells, thereby inducing high levels of type 1 interferon and promoting anti-tumor immune responses. The combination aims to enhance both the innate and adaptive immune response against tumors. Clinical development focused on determining the safety, appropriate dosages, and preliminary activity in patients with advanced cancer; however, recorded studies have been terminated early prior to full dose escalation/enrollment[1][3][5][9].
