MK-2010

MK-2010 is an investigational monoclonal antibody developed by Merck & Co. (MSD) that targets the cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4). As a next-generation immune checkpoint inhibitor, MK-2010 is designed to enhance the body's immune response against cancer cells by blocking the inhibitory signal mediated by CTLA-4 on T cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials, particularly in combination with other agents such as the TROP2-directed antibody-drug conjugate sacituzumab tirumotecan (Sac-TMT), for the treatment of various advanced solid tumors. The development of MK-2010 represents Merck's effort to optimize CTLA-4 blockade, potentially offering a better safety profile or enhanced efficacy compared to first-generation CTLA-4 inhibitors.
