Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MK-6837 + pembrolizumab is an investigational combination therapy for advanced or metastatic solid tumors that have not responded to standard treatments. Pembrolizumab is a monoclonal antibody checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1, enhancing T-cell–mediated antitumor immunity. The mechanism and precise molecular target(s) of MK-6837 have not been publicly disclosed. The combination aims to augment antitumor immune responses beyond pembrolizumab alone and is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1 trial for safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy, with both agents administered via intravenous infusion every three weeks[1][2][5][7][8].
