MK615

MK615 is an extract from the Japanese apricot (*Prunus mume*), standardized to contain several cyclic triterpenoids. It has demonstrated anti-neoplastic effects in vitro and in vivo, primarily against various cancer cell lines and tumors. Its mechanisms involve inhibition of growth by induction of apoptosis, autophagy, suppression of Aurora A kinase, downregulation of PD-L1 and NF-κB signaling, and activation of T cell–mediated anti-tumor immunity. Both preclinical and small early clinical studies suggest activity in colon cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer. MK615 is not a single compound but a defined mixture from a natural source.
