Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MKK-H10 is a recombinant 10-valent human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine candidate currently in preclinical development by MAXVAX Biotechnology. The vaccine is designed to provide broad-spectrum protection against ten different genotypes of HPV, including high-risk types associated with cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancers, as well as low-risk types that cause genital warts. It utilizes recombinant protein technology to produce virus-like particles (VLPs) that mimic the viral structure to induce a robust neutralizing antibody response without containing actual viral DNA. MKK-H10 aims to expand upon the coverage provided by existing 9-valent vaccines by targeting additional high-risk genotypes prevalent in specific populations.
