MKK-RHP12 is a 12-valent recombinant human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine candidate currently under development by MAXVAX Biotechnology. The vaccine is engineered using recombinant protein technology to produce virus-like particles (VLPs) that mimic the structure of twelve different HPV serotypes. By targeting a broader range of HPV types than existing 4-valent or 9-valent vaccines, MKK-RHP12 aims to provide expanded protection against high-risk strains associated with cervical, vulvar, vaginal, and anal cancers, as well as low-risk strains responsible for genital warts. The project is currently in the preclinical stage, utilizing the company's proprietary adjuvant platforms to optimize the immune response and ensure long-term efficacy.
