The mLama4 synthetic long peptide vaccine is a preclinical, experimental cancer vaccine targeting a mutant neoantigen derived from Laminin alpha-4 (Lama4). Specifically identified in the d42m1-T3 mouse pancreatic cancer model, the vaccine consists of a synthetic long peptide (SLP) approximately 30 amino acids in length that encodes the mLama4 epitope. It is designed to elicit robust, mutation-specific CD8+ T cell immune responses. In preclinical research, prophylactic administration of this peptide has demonstrated protection against tumor challenge, often studied alongside other neoantigens like mAlg8. While it serves as foundational evidence for clinical trials of neoantigen-based DNA vaccines (such as NCT03122106), the peptide vaccine itself remains a research tool without a commercial developer or clinical stage.
