MLN0415

MLN0415 is an oral, highly selective small molecule inhibitor of IKK2 (also known as IKKβ), a key kinase in the NF-kB signaling pathway. Discovered by Millennium Pharmaceuticals scientists, it was developed to target major inflammatory pathways by inhibiting IKKβ activity. In preclinical studies and early clinical trials, MLN0415 was shown to decrease NF-kB activation and down-regulate the expression of multiple inflammatory proteins that drive disease progression in conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and other immune-mediated disorders. The drug entered Phase 1 clinical trials for inflammatory diseases but its development has since been discontinued[1][2][3][5].
