MM-111 is a novel bispecific antibody fusion protein designed to co-target the epidermal growth factor family receptor tyrosine kinases ERBB2 (HER2) and ERBB3 (HER3). By binding to both HER2 and HER3, MM-111 blocks ligand-induced activation of the HER3 pathway, which is implicated in resistance mechanisms to existing HER2-targeted therapies. Preclinical studies have shown that MM-111 inhibits ErbB3 phosphorylation, tumor cell cycle progression, and tumor growth in various cancer models. It has been investigated primarily for use in advanced, refractory HER2-positive cancers such as breast cancer, gastric cancer, ovarian cancer, and lung cancer[1][6][8].
