Overview

MM-302 + trastuzumab is a combination therapy for HER2-positive advanced or metastatic breast cancer. MM-302 is a HER2-targeted antibody–liposomal doxorubicin conjugate, designed to deliver the chemotherapeutic agent doxorubicin specifically to HER2-overexpressing tumor cells while limiting exposure to healthy tissues such as cardiomyocytes. Trastuzumab is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the extracellular domain of the HER2 receptor, inhibiting its signaling and mediating immune responses against tumor cells. The combination aims to enhance antitumor efficacy by targeting different epitopes on the HER2 receptor and has been evaluated in clinical trials for patients with refractory or previously treated HER2-positive breast cancer[1][2][3][5].
