Overview

MM09-II is an investigational subcutaneous allergen immunotherapy (SCIT) developed by Inmunotek, S.L. for the treatment of house dust mite-induced allergic conditions. The product consists of chemically modified (polymerized) allergen extracts derived from two house dust mite species, *Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and *Dermatophagoides farinae*. By utilizing polymerized allergens, also known as allergoids, the therapy aims to reduce IgE-mediated reactivity and the associated risk of systemic side effects while maintaining the immunogenicity required to induce long-term immunological tolerance. MM09-II is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials in Spain for patients with moderate to severe allergic rhinitis, rhinoconjunctivitis, and associated asthma who are sensitized to house dust mites.
